Two teenagers are in jail, accused of robbing a pizza delivery woman. Authorities say the 29-year-old woman arrived at a home on Cross Creek Road, in Hephzibah, just before midnight, Tuesday night, but the house was deserted. Deputies say the teens broke into the house and were waiting for the pizza delivery woman.
Hephzibah, GA—Two teenagers are in jail, accused of robbing a pizza delivery woman.
Authorities say the 29-year-old woman arrived at a home on Cross Creek Road, in Hephzibah, just before midnight, Tuesday night, but the house was deserted.
Deputies say the teens broke into the house and were waiting for the pizza delivery woman.
Divine Chavious, 17, was one of the teens arrested. the other teen’s name has not been released at this time, due to his age.
The woman suffered broken ribs, a possible broken arm, and multiple bruises.
Neighbors are concerned.
Gary McCall, concerned neighbor: “She’ll probably have this in the back of her mind, she might even be in a crowd, looking around, thinking somebody is going to do something to her. She don’t know if you’re going to rape, rob her, or whatever. They are wrong completely wrong.“
Neighbors say they would like to see more police patrolling in this community before the crime in their neighborhood gets out of control.
