Suspect Arrested in String of Robberies

Augusta, GA - A Richmond County burglary suspect is in custody Tuesday morning. 

Calvin Eugene White is the man connected to a string of robberies in the Augusta area.

After an anonymous call to authorities, White was arrested around 1:30 am at the corner of Eve Street at Watkins Street.

Officials say White is responsible for at least six robberies during the month of August 2009.
