Police Seize Kilo Of Heroin In Alpharetta, GA

A Fulton County man is being held without bond in connection with the recent seizure of a kilogram of heroin from his residence in Alpharetta.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) - A Fulton County man is being held without bond in connection with the recent seizure of a kilogram of heroin from his residence in Alpharetta.

Alpharetta police said 27-year-old Nima Naderpour was charged with a one count of trafficking heroin.

Authorities said the heroin was shipped from India and U.S. Customs Enforcement agents allowed the package to be delivered to Naderpour’s house.

The narcotic, according to police, was found under a sink.

Naderpour was arrested during a traffic stop. He also faces federal charges.

Police said the heroin was worth an estimated $500,000 on the streets.
