North Augusta Dollar General Store Robbery Suspect Sought
According to Lt. Tim Pearson, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety is asking for help from the public to identify a robbery suspect. The robbery happened late Sunday evening, November 1st, at the Dollar General store, located at 1127 Knox avenue, in North Augusta.
North Augusta, SC—According to Lt. Tim Pearson, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety is asking for help from the public to identify a robbery suspect.
On Sunday evening, November 1st, an unidentified black male entered the Dollar General, located at 1127 Knox Avenue, in North Augusta, and hid somewhere in the store and waited until it closed. Management was unaware of the intruder.
A few minutes after the store’s closing, the suspect presented himself wearing a ski mask and black jacket demanding the employees to lie down on the floor. The suspect took the night’s money that was prepared for deposit, prior to the robbery, as well as loose cash still from the register drawer.
The suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’5” - 5’10” tall, and weighing 145-155 pounds. the suspec has short hair with corn rows. He was last seen wearing all black clothing. Suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
