Johnston Man Arrested After Sword Attack On Wife’s Son
According to our news partner, ‘The Edgefield Daily’, a Johnston, SC man has been arrested after attacking his wife’s son with a sword.

Johnston, SC -– According to our news partner, ‘The Edgefield Daily‘, a Johnston, SC man has been arrested after attacking his wife’s son with a sword.
The son allegedly entered the family home, on Monday night, then was confronted by 44-year-old Cheynne Hill.
Officers were first told the younger man was attacked by a chainsaw, but later determined he was attacked with a double-edge sword.
Hill, according to incident reports, told officers, he meant to kill the victim for disrespecting the mother, but missed.
Hill as been charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. Johnston Police Chief Chris Aston says the case is still under investigation.
