(Burke County, Georgia) - The victim, Reina Canche was found shot to death about 12 miles south of Waynesboro.
She was discovered November second in a car which is now in evidence at the Burke County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say she was killed in a house on Herndon road. Investigators say she was four months pregnant and had been shot in the head.
Brothers’ Emerino and Lino Miguel are wanted in her murder. Heriberto Juarez is already in jail.
Authorities suspect the victim may have had ties to a prostitution ring operating out of Savannah.
Investigators say women were brought to Burke County to have sex with the suspects who were working as farmhands at the Cotton Gin.
The Miguel brothers’ are believed to be in the Lakeland, Florida area.
A farmer found the Canche’s body while checking his crop. Investigators say she had been killed two days earlier.
The GBI, FBI and ICE are working to locate the suspects. All 3 are charged with murder.
