Edgefield Man Re-Arrested After Jumping Out Of Police Car

After a three-hour manhunt, on Saturday, an Edgefield County man is now behind bars. Investigators say 34-year-old Tony Brice was arrested on suspicion of DUI, after officers found an open container of alcohol in his car. Officers say they handcuffed Brice and put in him the patrol car, but Brice kicked out the back window, and jumped out.

Edgefield, SC—After a three-hour manhunt, on Saturday, an Edgefield County man is now behind bars.

Investigators say 34-year-old Tony Brice was arrested on suspicion of DUI, after officers found an open container of alcohol in his car.

Officers say they handcuffed Brice and put in him the patrol car, but Brice kicked out the back window, and jumped out.

After searching for three hours, investigators caught Brice. He’s now charged with DUI, in the first offense, escape, and malicious injury to real property.
