Edgefield County Man Arrested In North Augusta Armed Robbery

According to a release, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, arrested an Edgefield, SC man, Wednesday night, concerning the armed robbery that occurred at 1186 Edgefield Road, in North Augusta, SC, on April 15, 2009. The suspect is identified as Rickey Brunson, 52, of 68 Se Diggs Road, in Trenton, SC. Brunson is charged with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Armed Robbery.

Aiken, S.C. June 18, 2009—According to a release, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, arrested an Edgefield, SC man, Wednesday night, concerning the armed robbery that occurred at 1186 Edgefield Road, in North Augusta, SC, on April 15, 2009.

The suspect is identified as Rickey Brunson, 52, of 68 Se Diggs Road, in Trenton, SC. Brunson is charged with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Armed Robbery.

In an on going investigation of an armed robbery that occurred at Greg’s Gas Plus, located at 1186 Edgefield Road, on April 15th, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigators learned through witnesses, and the stores surveillance recordings, the identity of the suspect involved in the armed robbery.

Brunson is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
