Death Sentence Upheld For Man Convicted Of Richmond County Beating Death

Georgia’s Supreme Court has upheld a death sentence against Robert Owen Arrington. Arrington was convicted in the 2001 beating death of his 46-year-old girlfriend, Kathy Lynn Hutchens, in Richmond County.

Atlanta, GA—Georgia’s Supreme Court has upheld a death sentence against Robert Owen Arrington.

Arrington was convicted in the 2001 beating death of his 46-year-old girlfriend, Kathy Lynn Hutchens, in Richmond County.

A bloody fingerprint matched to Arrington was found at the scene.

Monday’s decision upholding the conviction and death sentence was unanimous.
