Columbia County Shoplifting Suspect Sought
According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Wal-Mart shoplifting suspect.
Columbia County, GA—According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Wal-Mart shoplifting suspect.
According to a loss prevention associate with the Evans, GA Wal-Mart, located at 4469 Washington Road, an unknown white male took various fishing supplies, concealed them in his shorts pockets and left the store without paying. The incident occurred on Friday, October 9th.
The employee stated he observed the white male concealing the items and when he passed all points of sale, he attempted to stop him. The employee stated when he attempted to stop the white male, the suspect took an aggressive posture, put his hand in his pocket and told the employee, “don`t touch me.“
The employee said the suspect then got into a white four-door Dodge Dakota pickup truck and backed away from him and left the parking lot through the main entrance, traveling west on GA 104 (Washington Road). The employee was able to get a partial GA tag for the truck, BQ5.
The suspect was wearing a black ball cap, black t-shirt, dark blue jean shorts and white sneakers.
The employee said the suspect was approximately 5’8” tall, and between 150 to 160 pounds. the employee also stated the suspect was wearing prescription or clear glasses.
