UPDATED: Columbia County Sexual Assault Suspect Sought
According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public in the identification of a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on August 21st, at the Kroger store, located at 4115 Columbia Road, in Martinez. UPDATE: The same suspect may have been seen at the Evans Kroger around 8:15 a.m. He was seen driving a dark colored car, possibly a Nissan Sentra.

Columbia County, GA—According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public in the identification of a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on August 21st, at the Kroger store, located at 4115 Columbia Road, in Martinez.
A Kroger employee told investigators the suspect came up to her while she was working and started asking personal questions, which made the employee uncomfortable.
When the employee turned around to continue working, the suspect stepped closer to her, rubbing against her buttocks. The employee stated the suspect attempted to rub against her another time when she ran to get another employee. Employees searched the store and were unable to locate the suspect.
