Columbia County, GA—A registered sex offender, known for challenging Georgia’s sex offender law, is wanted by Columbia County investigators.
Investigators discovered 29-year-old Wendy Whitaker is no longer living at the address where she’s registered.
You may remember…Whitaker is suing the state over a law that bans sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of a place where children gather.
Whitaker said, becaise her conviction stemmed from her high school days when she dated the man she eventually married, she should not be treated the same as offenders who pose a risk to children.
Whitaker was also arrested back in July on drug charges during a traffic stop in Columbia County, after deputies found meth and adderol in the car she was driving.

I’m saddened by the ending to this story. For over a decade the state of Georgia ostracized her for consensual teen relations. The state of Georgia and their legislature spent over a decade placing her on a public pillory, dictating her living arrangements, and making her life a living ####. AND FOR WHAT?!? To look good to constituents. I wish she never chose drugs to deal with the ostracism and state-sponsored vigilantism, but by the same token I don’t blame her for wanting some kind of release. Do you people even know how these laws work? Its high time you learn. www.oncefallen.com
