With nearly 400 burglary cases since the start of the year, they’re trying to stop the high rise in crime.
Officials with the Burke County Sheriff’s Office say, every day, they wait for more cases to come in. They’ve even started a task force with surrounding counties to help cover their more than 850 square miles.
Even a Burke County Commissioner’s business was burglarized.
