Burke County Shooting Suspect Sought

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance in locating a wanted suspect from Burke County. On the night of May 2nd, Alphonzo Lorenzo Burley, allegedly shot victim, Johnny B. Godbee, twice in the left thigh during a fight at Club Midnight, in Burke County. The suspect also shot his brother, James Eric Burley, in the lower abdomen by accident during the fight.

Burke County, GA—The Burke County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance in locating a wanted suspect from Burke County.

On the night of May 2nd, Alphonzo Lorenzo Burley, allegedly shot victim, Johnny B. Godbee, twice in the left thigh during a fight at Club Midnight, in Burke County.

The suspect also shot his brother, James Eric Burley, in the lower abdomen by accident during the fight.

The suspect has warrants for three counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Anyone with information on Alphonzo Burley’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.
