Burglary Suspects Sought In Aiken County

Aiken, SC., October 8, 2009—According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary on the 500 block of Rainbow Falls Road, in Graniteville, SC.

At 9:45 a.m., on Thursday morning, Aiken County Deputies responded to a burglary on the 500 block of Rainbow Falls Rd in Graniteville. Deputies confirmed that the home had been broken into, and that two men described as two black males were seen running from the address. Discovered at the Rainbow Falls address was a motorcycle believed to be left by the two subjects. Deputies were able to confirm that the motorcycle was stolen, reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. Both subjects are believed to be involved with other burglaries within Aiken County.

The Aiken County Bloodhound Tracking Team responded and searched the area. Clothing believed to have been worn by the subjects at the time of the burglary, was recovered while the bloodhound team tracked the suspected individuals. 

Assisting the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office with the perimeter and search, was SLED, North Augusta Public Safety, Aiken Department of Public Safety, and the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office.
