Second Suspect Arrested In North Augusta Murder
In an e-mail to WJBF News Channel 6, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says, in coordination with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, a second suspect has been arrested concerning the murder that occurred at 374 Woodberry Lane in North Augusta, S.C. on June 11, 2009. Myra Wright, of the 100 block of Reiser Court, in Augusta, is charged with Accessory/Accessory after the fact of Murder.
Aiken, S.C. June 18, 2009—In an e-mail to WJBF News Channel 6, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says, in coordination with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, a second suspect has been arrested concerning the murder that occurred at 374 Woodberry Lane in North Augusta, S.C. on June 11, 2009.
Myra Wright, of the 100 block of Reiser Court, in Augusta, is charged with Accessory/Accessory after the fact of Murder.
Wright, who was working at the Augusta Mall, was identified and picked up from her place of employment by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 11, 2009 investigators learned the victim and Dewanye Issac had gotten into a verbal argument, which led to Dewanye Issac shooting and killing the victim, at 374 Woodberry Lane in North Augusta, SC.
Wright, on June 11, 2009, did allow Issac to use her van in the murder of the victim, Exzradrian Holloway. Wright met with Issac at her job, located at the Augusta Mall, and allowed Issac to drive her van to and from 374 Woodberry Lane, where the murder took place.
Wright did attempt to hide her van the night after the murder, knowing what had taken place, and not returning home in an attempt to avoid being questioned by the police concerning the murder.
Wright is now being held in the Richmond County Detention Center pending extradition.
