Augusta, GA—Kevin Leopard, car vandalized: “It could have gone out of control and potentially killed us, or other people around us.“

Just recently, Kevin and his wife, Meredith, were driving westbound along Bobby Jones Expressway…when they got close to the Sand Bar Ferry Road exit, it happened…

Meredith Leopard, car vandalized: “By the time we were able to see what was going on, there was a group of about 6 or 7 kids next to the road on the guard rail, and they didn’t throw this off the overpass, they were on the street. And, as we went by, everyone of them cocked their arms back and threw a very large rock.

Those rocks that weighed about 2 pounds each, doing some extensive damage to the Leopards’ brand new car, $2,200 worth, to be exact.

Meredith: “It hit a hole big enough that I could put my index finger in. Some of the rocks hit down below on the black section of the door. The car has some luggage racks on top, bars on the top, and it put about a quarter-sized dent in one of those, multiple dents and scratches.

Although the car is now repaired, Meredith says it could have been much worse and hopes others watch out, so it doesn’t happen to them.

Meredith: “People need to be very careful, because if they continue to do this, it’s going to be a matter of time. You know, it’s not going to be if it happens, it’s going to be when it happens, somebody’s going to be killed.“

Investigators say they had another report of the same thing happening at the same spot. So, far they have no leads.
