UPDATED: Belvedere Bank Of America Branch Robbed

According to Captain Troy Elwell, on Wednesday, March 25th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) responded to the Bank of America, located at 315 Edgefield Highway (Highway 25), in Belvedere South Carolina, for a robbery.

Belvedere, SC—According to Captain Troy Elwell, on Wednesday, March 25th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) responded to the Bank of America, located at 315 Edgefield Highway (Highway 25), in Belvedere South Carolina, for a robbery.

Witnesses stated a black male wearing a black mask, gloves and hooded jacket turned inside out, entered the bank and demanded fifty’s and hundred’s. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot across Highway 25. One witness states he observed the suspect entering the passengers side door of a silver in color mid-size car.
