Aiken Man Arrested For Home Invasion, Armed Robbery
According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) arrested an Aiken man regarding a residential burglary that occurred early this morning in Aiken, South Carolina. James Eric Williams, 24, of the 2900 block of Abbeville Avenue, in Aiken, is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
Aiken, S.C. August 28, 2009—According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) arrested an Aiken man regarding a residential burglary that occurred early this morning in Aiken, South Carolina.
James Eric Williams, 24, of the 2900 block of Abbeville Avenue, in Aiken, is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
ACSO Deputies responded to a residential burglary described as an individual wearing a black face mask and hoodie, forcing his way into the residence, presenting a firearm, and demanding drugs and money from the victim.
Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and Bloodhound Tracking Team responded to the scene. ACSO Investigators, through witnesses’ statements and the efforts of the Bloodhound Tracking Team, were able to locate and arrest James Eric Williams for the burglary of the victim’s residence.
James Eric Williams is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
