Aiken Man Arrested For Aiken County Homicide
According to Sgt. Dave Myers, Saturday evening, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) investigators arrested an Aiken man for the homicide of another Aiken man following an altercation that turned deadly. Allen Christopher Tufano, 35, of the 700 block of Partridge Bend, in Aiken, is charged with Murder, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
Aiken, S.C., November 22, 2009—According to Sgt. Dave Myers, Saturday evening, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) investigators arrested an Aiken man for the homicide of another Aiken man following an altercation that turned deadly.
Allen Christopher Tufano, 35, of the 700 block of Partridge Bend, in Aiken, is charged with Murder, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
On Saturday, Nov. 21st, at approximately 9:00 p.m., ACSO Deputies responded to Partridge Bend, in Aiken, concerning a subject found lying on the ground, later identified as the victim, 20-=year-old Dancer Wayne Richter. Mr. Richter was transported to the Aiken Regional Medical Centers where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival, confirmed by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Investigators discovered during their investigation that the victim had been stabbed in the chest area with a knife following an altercation, and were able to make an arrest and charge Tufano in connection with the death of Richter.
Allen Christopher Tufano is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
