Aiken County Woman Pleads Guilty To Hiring Hitman To Kill Husband

An Aiken County woman has pleaded guilty to hiring a hitman to kill her husband. Tuesday, 42-year-old Judy Dickson, of Salley, South Carolina, admitted in court that she agreed to pay $10,000 to have the home of her estranged husband burned down. The man she tried to hire alerted the FBI.

Aiken, SC—An Aiken County woman has pleaded guilty to hiring a hitman to kill her husband.

Tuesday, 42-year-old Judy Dickson, of Salley, South Carolina, admitted in court that she agreed to pay $10,000 to have the home of her estranged husband burned down. The man she tried to hire alerted the FBI.

Court documents state Dickson wanted to collect insurance and retirement money.

A sentencing date has not been set. She faces ten years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.
