Aiken, S.C., October 28, 2009—Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators discover a Meth Lab in Bath, South Carolina.
David Blankens, Sr., 45 of Bay Street, in Bath, South Carolina is wanted for Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Manufacture, Distribution of Methamphetamine 1st.
Mary Catherine Washington-Blanken, 39, of Bay Street, in Bath, South Carolina is wanted for Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Manufacture, Distribution of Methamphetamine 1st.
On 10/28/2009 as a result of ACSO Deputies responding to suspicious person and vehicle at 25 Bay Street, Bath, South Carolina, a meth lab was discovered at the same address. Narcotics Investigators obtained a search warrant for the Bath, S.C. address, discovering there were materials consistent and required for the illegal manufacturing process of methamphetamine.
Items discovered, consistent and required for the illegal manufacturing process of methamphetamine, at the Bath S.C. address, were secured and disposed of through a government contracted clean up crew per DHEC regulations.
We keep a close watch on this kind of drug activity due to receiving complaints from concerned citizens,” said Sheriff Michael Hunt.
As a result of the search warrant, ACSO hold warrants for the arrest of David Blanken Sr., and Mary Catherine Washington Blanken for Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Manufacture, Distribution of Methamphetamine 1st.
