UPDATED: Aiken County Bank Robbery Suspects Sought
According to Captain Troy Elwell, on Tuesday, at approximately 12:50 p.m., the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) responded to the Beech Island Credit Union, located at 143 Old Jackson Highway, in Beech Island South Carolina, for an armed robbery.
Aiken, SC—According to Captain Troy Elwell, on Tuesday, at approximately 12:50 p.m., the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) responded to the Beech Island Credit Union, located at 143 Old Jackson Highway, in Beech Island South Carolina, for an armed robbery.
The victims stated that three men wearing mask and gloves, entered the credit union. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns and one was armed with a rifle.
The suspects demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money from tellers and fled the scene in a vehicle. Investigators have learned the three suspects used a black SUV with dark tented windows to flee the scene in Tuesday’s armed robbery at the Beach Island Credit Union. The make and model of the SUV is unknown, at this time.
