(Columbia, SC) - Since the arrest of former North Augusta principal Stephen Coke Eubanks on child molestation charges, SLED investigators say their hotline has been busy.

Special Agent Paul Larosa: “We have multiple other people who have come forward since then and charges will be coming as soon as we can validate their stories.”

Eubanks is accused of sexually abusing two former students in the 70’s.

While a principal, SLED says Eubanks had sex with a female student at his home and fondled a 14 year old male student and attempted to have sex with him. Investigators say Eubanks also gave the minors alcohol and marijuana.

Larosa says he needs anyone who was a victim or who has information about this case to call the hotline that sled has set up.

Larosa:  “If they have anything whether it’s a community rumor, have direct knowledge or hearsay; I’m willing to hear anything and we would definitely like to talk to people that would have any information involving other adult males.”

Judge Danny Lynn, Jr. set bond on the felony charges against Eubanks at 25,000 dollars.  He was ordered not to have contact with the alleged victims and no contact with anyone under 16.

Larosa says it’s vital for anyone with information to come forward to help him piece together a case that goes back more than 30 years.

Larosa: “If these potential victims that are out there do not want to come forward but want to tell their stories this gives them the opportunity to discuss it with me.”
