Augusta Salvation Army Taking Applications For Christmas Assistance This Week

Christmas time is coming soon, and, with the economy failing, families may find it hard to put gifts under the tree this year. Augusta’s Salvation Army is here to help. They’re taking applications this week for Christmas assistance.

Augusta, GA—Christmas time is coming soon, and, with the economy failing, families may find it hard to put gifts under the tree this year.

Augusta’s Salvation Army is here to help. They’re taking applications this week for Christmas assistance.

Families in need must apply in person at the Salvation Army, on Greene Street.

They are taking application from October 6th-10th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

You must bring a photo ID, and Social Security cards for all family members, and proof of income and expenses.

Homeless and low-income families will be provided with toys, gifts, and food.
