Paula Deen Hams It Up At Savannah Food Bank
Paula Deen is quite a ham. The celebrity chef worked with Smithfield Foods on Wednesday to donate 25,000 pounds of ham to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. The Savannah resident pitched hams out of the back of a truck to onlookers and supporters gathered as part of Smithfield’s Helping Hungry Homes initiative.

Nielsen Media Research says that’s a smaller audience than for Princess Diana’s funeral or President Barack Obama’s inauguration - but it’s still impressive in today’s TV world. An actress who starred on the hit television series “Three’s Company” has been arrested in Southern California and cited for drunken driving. Police say Joyce DeWitt, who played the character Janet Wood on the popular show, was pulled over Saturday afternoon after she drove past a barricade near a park in El Segundo.

Farrah Fawcett Remembered At LA Funeral
The life of “Charlie’s Angels” star Farrah Fawcett was celebrated at a private funeral in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday. Her longtime companion, Ryan O’Neal, was among pallbearers who accompanied the casket, covered in yellow and orange flowers, into the Roman Catholic cathedral Tuesday afternoon.
