For years schools have fought their rivals but is be-heading your rivals mascot going too far? You decide.
Students in Austin, Texas got creative for an upcoming Halloween football game with their rival.
So the students created a shirt using a bloody, decapitated image of another school’s mascot.
At first school officials approved the shirts… but changed their minds saying it was poor judgement.
Some say the image is too graphic and needs to be changed.
Parent: lots of signs that say , no weapons, you know on school property. So why are we promoting weapons?
Student: I’m mean if some people are concerned then yeah I guess you should change it for the better.
No shirts with the original image had been printed, so students will now have an option of the new image or a refund.
