An Edgefield County man filed a police report, last week, claiming he was never reimbursed for a marijuana purchase.

Johnston, SC—An Edgefield County man filed a police report, last week, claiming he was never reimbursed for a marijuana purchase.

According to the Johnston police chief, Willie Key said he paid $27 for a “nickel bag” of pot.

Key claims Lamont Mathis took the money, but never showed up to give him the marijuana.

Johnston’s police chief says they are trying to locate Key, now. Charges are still pending in the case.

Officers say they never found the marijuana.
