HAMILTON, Ontario (AP) - One day a guy is repairing boat seats, the next he’s on tour with Yes. That’s the story of Benoit David, a Yes tribute band singer with a boat repair business who will fill in for Jon Anderson while Anderson recovers from health problems.

David says he’s just taking the job until Anderson is better and he doesn’t feel like any hurt feelings between Anderson and the band have anything to do with him personally.

David says fans should come to the show “with open ears and an open heart.“ As for his business, David says he’s set his voicemail to refer people to another business while he’s gone. The tour kicks off in Hamilton, Ontario, on Tuesday.
