Usher’s Wife ‘Faithful And Loving’ During Marriage

ATLANTA (AP) - Tameka Foster Raymond is speaking out about her split with R&B singer Usher, who filed for divorce last week after less than two years of marriage.

The 38-year-old mother of Usher’s two sons, who also has three children from a previous marriage, has hired sports and entertainment family lawyer Randy Kessler. Kessler recently opposed rapper T.I. and boxer Evander Holyfield in child support cases, and represented rapper Mack 10 in his divorce from R&B singer T-Boz of TLC.

Kessler said on Monday that his client was a “faithful wife and loving mother.“ He declined to comment on Usher Raymond’s conduct during the marriage.

The couple wed in a glitzy ceremony in August 2007. The divorce petition was filed Friday in Superior Court in Atlanta.
