Atlanta, GA—It was a night to remember for Pastor Gregory Fuller and his family. Doctor Fuller along with nine pastors were selected to receive an award at the 15th annual Gospel Choice Awards. The pastors were selected out of about 700 pastors from across the state of Georgia based on nominations and the impact that their ministry has had within their community.

Dr. Gregory Fuller: “The thing that makes it worthwhile, all the struggles, all the sleepiness nights…what makes it worthwhile is seeing God move in someone’s life and transforming their life.“

Dr. Fuller pastors Macedonia Baptist church along Wrightsboro Road. Since 1999 the church has seen growth which has lead to four churches in different locations across the CSRA.

Dr. Gregory Fuller: “There’s nothing like seeing a soul a life been changed.“

The Awards show was filled with the star treatment. All pastors and their wives enjoyed the red carpet and got their pictures taken like celebrities. There was plenty of inspiring music from national gospel recording artists. But, although these followers of Christ were treated like royalty, Monday night, Pastor Fuller says this is not what ministry is all about.

Dr. Gregory Fuller: “We don’t do it for the awards, we don’t do it for recognition. We do it for the love of God and God’s people, and we know our award comes from over in Gloryland.“

Pastor Fuller says he decided to become a pastor because he knew he was destined to spread the Gospel.

Dr. Gregory Fuller: “Pastoring is not something that you chose it’s something that chooses you love for the people hearing the voice of God.“

After all the fun and excitement, all ten pastors were lined up on stage and received their final recognition.
