Barbra Streisand is returning to her New York club roots. The 67-year-old singer will make a one-performance appearance on Sept. 26 at the intimate Village Vanguard, the legendary jazz spot in Greenwich Village, New York. It is her first appearance there since she opened for Miles Davis in 1961.
One hundred free tickets will be made available to lucky fans. Details and rules are available on the performer’s Website, http://www.barbrastreisand.com, which announced the Vanguard appearance.
The concert is to celebrate Streisand’s upcoming CD titled “Love Is the Answer.“
