12th Annual Mustang Classic Tournament Of Bands To Be Held Saturday

The 12th Annual Mustang Classic Tournament of Bands will be held on Saturday, September 26th. The competition will be held at Midland Valley High School’s L.L. Willis Stadium. The Mustang classic will feature high school marching bands from all over South Carolina.

Gloverville, SC—The 12th Annual Mustang Classic Tournament of Bands will be held on Saturday, September 26th.

The competition will be held at Midland Valley High School’s L.L. Willis Stadium. The Mustang Classic will feature high school marching bands from all over South Carolina.

This is the opening of contest season for most bands. This is an opportunity for the bands to bring their best to the marching field and see where they stand for the upcoming competition season.

The event is open to the public, friends and families of band members. Once again, a $500 cash prize will be offered to the 2 divisional champions.

Midland Valley takes great pride in running a great “first run” contest. The judges offer critique and comments in a positive way that band directors and students need in their first trip out!

The gates open at 3:00 p.m., and the first band performs at 4:30. tickets are $7 for adults, and $4 for students in grades K-12.
