Michael Jackson: Movie’s Stay Extended Through Thanksgiving

LOS ANGELES - Now you don’t have to hustle off to the multiplex to catch the Michael Jackson film “This Is It.“ Its distributor, Sony, has decided to extend its theatrical run for a few more weeks. At first, Sony said the film would only be in theaters for two weeks. But now, it says the movie will run through the Thanksgiving weekend. That’s one of the year’s heaviest moviegoing periods - and will increase the take of the film. Sony says the film will get an extended run in other countries - but that decision is being made on a nation-by-nation basis.
