Legendary Actor Paul Newman Dead At 83

Actor Paul Newman is dead at 83.  The celebrated film star succumbed to cancer at his home in Westport Connecticut.  Newman is perhaps best known for his film work, which includes such classics as “Cool Hand Luke”, “Hud”, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and “the Hustler.“  Newman won an Oscar for his part in the long awaited “Hustler” sequel, “The Color of Money.“  Newman is also well known for his charitable organization “Newman’s Own,“ which sells various types of foods at grocery stores.  Money raised goes to a charity for children with cancer.  For more information on Newman’s life and career: Click here for more coverage from ABC News
