CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Officials at a South Carolina festival say families can attend and avoid spending a lot of money.

At Spoleto Festival USA, officials say $100 coule help patrons attend several performances and leave for home with money to spare.

For instance, people could attend a chamber music concert in the morning, see the play “Don John” in the afternoon and the opera “Louise” in the evening. People can get seats to all three for $75.

That’s just one day’s schedule and festival officials says there are other combinations of events that are budget friendly during the event, which continues through June 7.
