UPDATED: Talatha Rural Community Water District Boil Water Advisory Repealed
Due to a main line break on Gray Mare Hollow Road, all residents on Gray Mare Hollow Road, from St. Marks Church to Silver Bluff Road and those living on Storm Branch Road within the Talatha Rural Community Water District (TRC Water District) area were urged to vigorously boil all water used for cooking and drinking for at least three (3) minutes, on June 15th. That advisory has now been repealed.
10:05 a.m. UPDATE, on June 18th: The boil water advisory has now been repealed.
New Ellenton, SC—Due to a main line break on Gray Mare Hollow Road, all residents on Gray Mare Hollow Road, from St. Marks Church to Silver Bluff Road and those living on Storm Branch Road within the Talatha Rural Community Water District (TRC Water District) area should vigorously boil all water used for cooking and drinking for at least three (3) minutes for the next seventy two (72) hours.
Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. This advisory will affect from thirty (30) to forty (40) families.
Talatha Rural Community Water District is presently working to complete repairs.
Residents in the service area described above are advised to vigorously boil their cooking and drinking water for at least three (3) minutes for the next
seventy two (72) hours.
Customers will be notified when the testing is complete and there is no longer a need to boil the water.
