Kidnapped Child Recovered In Aiken

Release (via email) from Lt. David Turno, Aiken Public Safety:
Officers working on a tip have located a missing child and her mother at the McDonalds on York St. in Aiken.  An Amber Alert had been issued for the child, Chesney Anne Gaskin 3 years of age out of NC.
The child’s mother Danielle Star Simpson 24 is the abductor and has been taken into custody and is being held for the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office.  The child is safe and will be turned over to NC authorities.
