Aiken Deputies Investigate Robbery

Aiken County investigators are looking for suspects in connnection with a gas station robbery overnight. Press release below.

Aiken, SC., June 26-The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is
investigating a late night armed robbery at the Kangaroo Express, 349
Edgefield Rd., North Augusta, south Carolina.
At 10:30 p.m., two men, described as two black males dressed in all
black clothing, black gloves, black ski masks and bandanas, walked into
the store, with subject 1 pointing a small black pistol at the cashier,
then demanding money from the register. The cashier gave subject 1 an
amount of money from the stores cash register. Subject 2 grabbed an
amount of cigars, and placed them into a black bag. Both subjects then
ran from the store down a near by street.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Tracking Team responded and
searched the area.
Subject 1 Description:
Gender: Male Race: Black Age: 20-25 Height: 5’11”-6’01”
Weight: 160-170 Clothing: black pants and shirt, black gloves, ski
mask and bandanna.
Subject 2 Description:
Gender: Male Race: Black Age: UKN Height: 5’06”-5’08”
Weight: 160-170 Clothing: black pants and shirt, black gloves, ski
mask and bandanna.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals is
asked to contact Investigator Chuck Cain at the Aiken County Sheriff’s

the Midlands: (888) 599-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and will be
eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1000.
