Jackson, SC Family Foods IGA Armed Robbery
According to Capt. Troy Elwell, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at 9:58 p.m. Deputies responded to the Family Foods IGA store, located at 110 Dragstrip Road, in Jackson, SC.
Aiken county, SC—According to Capt. Troy Elwell, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at 9:58 p.m.
Deputies responded to the Family Foods IGA store, located at 110 Dragstrip Road, in Jackson, SC. The victim stated that two individuals came inside, pointed handguns at him and demanded money. The suspects fired two rounds during the incident, before fleeing on foot. The Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team responded and tracked to a nearby business where it is believed the suspects had parked a car. The suspect vehicle is possibly a white four door car with a sunroof and a small spoiler on the trunk.
