A former NFL football player with ties to Augusta is facing federal charges. A federal grand jury has returned a 22-count indictment against Arthur Marshall. Marshall is charged with fraud and money laundering in his real estate ventures. He is also accused of defrauding three banks in obtaining loans for seven different properties in Columbia and Richmond Counties.

Augusta, GA—A former NFL football player with ties to Augusta is facing federal charges.
A federal grand jury has returned a 22-count indictment against Arthur Marshall.
Marshall is charged with fraud and money laundering in his real estate ventures. He is also accused of defrauding three banks in obtaining loans for seven different properties in Columbia and Richmond Counties.
Marshall was a local high school football star at Hephzibah High School. He later played at the University of Georgia and the New York Giants and Denver Broncos.
