SPRINGFIELD, Ga. (AP) - Another teenager has been arrested in a rash of bomb threats at Effingham County High School in southeast Georgia.
The 16-year-old boy is being held at the Claxton Youth Detention Center, charged with making terroristic threats, transmitting a false public alarm and disrupting a public school in two out of seven bomb hoaxes received since Oct. 14.
Two telephoned threats have come since the arrest last week of a 15-year-old boy who attended the school and was charged in one of the incidents, which occurred after the two blamed on the 16-year-old.
Effingham County Detective David Eshanipoor said Monday that the high school was evacuated and searched by police each time.
