The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning fire, in which there was moderate damage, to the “Genco” warehouse, a subcontractor of Kimberly Clark, at 1043 Global Ave., Graniteville, South Carolina.
Aiken, S.C., June 17, 2009 - The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is investigating an early morning fire, in which there was moderate damage, to the “Genco” warehouse, a subcontractor of Kimberly Clark, at 1043 Global Ave., Graniteville, South Carolina.
Shortly after midnight, firefighters from Graniteville Fire Department arrived and found smoke coming from the warehouse. The fire was contained to a small section of an aisle within the warehouse.
ACSO Investigators have determined the fire is a result of arson, and have an active on going criminal investigation.
