Lit are auctioning off guitarist Jeremy Popoff's goatee to help their drummer with his medical bills. The band is sponsoring an eBay auction to benefit Allen Shellenberger, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

UNDATED (AP) - Lit are auctioning off guitarist Jeremy Popoff's goatee to help their drummer with his medical bills. The band is sponsoring an eBay auction to benefit Allen Shellenberger, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

One of the items for sale is the chance to shave off Popoff's goatee on stage. They're also auctioning a guitar lesson with Steve Vai, a cymbal used by
Angels and Airwaves drummer Atom Willard on the last Warped Tour and an amplifier signed by No Doubt, Sugar Ray and Lit.

Among the other artists who've donated autographed items are Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Disturbed, Pennywise, Korn, Rush and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The auction runs through October 9th. Details are at LitLounge.com.
